Kate Walsh Stars at GLAAD Awards

Celebrated actress Kate Walsh has been wowing crowds as always this week with her immaculate dress sense and elegant looks.

The Grey's Anatomy star wore a breathtaking red dress and a pair of large platinum and diamond stud earrings for her appearance at the 18th annual media awards ceremony for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

Grey's Anatomy won an award for the Outstanding Individual Episode and Walsh was on hand to collect it in front of thousands of adoring fans.

Co-star TR Knight said: "I am angry at the inequality we face everyday. I hope to turn my anger into action. One of my actions is to be here to celebrate GLAAD's work - its work to teach and promote inclusion."

Jennifer Aniston also picked up an award and she used the opportunity to express her commitment to the work of GLAAD.

"I'm here with you tonight to say that I'm proud to stand not in front of you, but I stand right beside you. I commend you," she said.

Little Miss Sunshine and Ugly Betty both picked up awards at the prestigious event, which saw some of the biggest names from TV and movies backing the rights of those in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.
